Clean-energy + Poverty = Everything

Hey Josh,

I met you earlier on Monday during the talk you gave with the global
development club. It was wonderful hearing you speak with such an
unbridled enthusiasm for social work and it was certainly infectious!
It is true also that there is great opportunity in the field of
renewable energy with the pressing issues regarding on energy
consumption more pertinent now than ever before. Hence I was
wondering if you had any recommendations regarding possible summer
internship opportunities working with organisations that delve in not
only in the technology of renewable energy but also in making it
widely accessible to the world and not just those who could afford it.

Answer

Really good to hear from you. I'm overwhelmed with opportunities for
you. The convergence of clean energy and development is one of - if
not the - most exciting business, engineering, and political
opportunities of our time.  Check out this book:

Question:

Hi, I was one of the students at your talk today. I'm emailing about
the various websites we can go to to start our search for socially
conscious work experiences. What are they, and do you have any other
suggestions you have about finding a good experience?

Answer:

Thanks for getting in touch. Beyond below, take a look at network for
good and idealist.org; both are great resources. Always here for you
:). - J
